The team at Norton have a deep understanding of metallurgy, moulding systems and heat treatment processes and have the experience to apply this knowledge during the casting processes.

Casting expertise requires in-depth knowledge of the processes involved including mould preparation, temperature control, cooling rates and mould handling.

Engineering casting processes are susceptible to defects including shrinkage, tearing and gas porosity. Our team works to not only detect such defects but actively trace root causes and prevent recurrence.
